Since 2020, Matt Long has collaborated with Berlin-based singer, songwriter, DJ, performance artist and painter Mikey Woodbridge. Together with director Simon Williams, the two created the show Tranceformer based on songs from Mikey’s 2019 EP of the same name.
Matt created new piano arrangements of Mikey’s songs and the show has been performed multiple times at the Ballery in Berlin. In 2021, songs from the Tranceformer show were performed at Club Gretchen for a berta.berlin livestream. In November 2022, Matt and Mikey performed at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf as part of the New Fall Festival/MTV Music Week.
